Xbox stole money from my card?

I have my fathers credit card on my account with his permission obviously, recently he called me asking if i bought a game, which I didn't! He said $83.99 was taken from his account 2 days ago. I checked my xbox if I somehow bought something by accident,
but I don't see anything downloaded, so i sorted games ready to install by newest but nothing was there that was 83 dollars. I checked the account transactions on my only account, sorted by the last 3 months. And i couldn't find my answer. I checked the credit
card transaction and it says MICROSOFT STORE MSBI -$83.99. No idea whats going on. I called support and stayed on the line for more than half an hour. Nobody answered. This is unacceptable. He also said this happened on multiple occasions but he let it slide
since he thought it was me but it wasnt so i was unaware. I need answers.

apparently they took the money for a game i preordered a month ago now instead of back then. False alarm, won't let me delete the post. still didn't pop up in my orders though which is why i got flustered. This never happened before. I preordered stuff before
and it took the money right away. Does that always happen? Or is it a first time for me?

They changed the way preorders work about a year or so ago. If you preorder with your Microsoft account balance, the money is taken out immediately. If you preorder using a credit card/Paypal, you're not actually charged until about 10 days before the game
releases.

They changed the way preorders work about a year or so ago. If you preorder with your Microsoft account balance, the money is taken out immediately. If you preorder using a credit card/Paypal, you're not actually charged until about 10 days before the game
releases.

I was unaware, wish i knew ahead of time... having it taken now instead of taking it back then is a major inconvenience though
