Xbox still working incorrectly

after resetting my xbox as suggested and unplugging the power, i have continued to have problems where my xbox drops connection in games such as fallout 4, the division , etc. and every few minutes it sends me back to the main menus on various games, or
signs my xbox live account out repeatedly. I have become increasingly frustrated by the problem being that before the software update i had no problems, but now am irritated by these problems.

A corrupted data may cause your game not to work properly. We need to gather more information about the issue by answering the following questions below:

1. What browser are you using?

2. What Xbox website are you trying to access?

3. Are you referring the Xbox app on your system?

4. What other troubleshooting steps have your done?

For the mean time. Here are two steps on how to isolate system issues:

Method 1: Perform a clean boot, this helps eliminate software conflicts that occur when you install a program or an update or when you run a program in Windows 10. Here is the link on

Xbox App on Browser working incorrectly

- Dear Xbox Support Team

- First of all, I want to say that I had tried to find a button which can help me report that error on browser but I didn't make it, so I going to post it here, hope you don't mine.

Xbox App on Windows and Smart Phone working very well but the problem is Xbox App on Browser, about 2 months ago, I can not play my videos I made in Capture of Xbox App Browser, when I clicked on it, there is only the title of the video was shown and nothing
happened, then I press ESC button on keyboard to close the video and tried to open another video or another picture, but nothing happened when I clicked, So I press F5 to refresh the site and clicked a picture, it worked, but if I do it again, it won't.

- Could you check Xbox App on Browser and fix it please. Thank you very much.

To start out, how is your Xbox One connected to your network? Are you wired or wireless, and if you're wireless are you able to test a wired connection to see if there's any disconnection troubles? Let us know what's up so that we can best help you out with
this disconnection issue.

It still may be a formatting issue. If the drive is formatted incorrectly certain apps will simply not work.

Never mind - The Xbox was named incorrectly. Changed the name in Xbox settings, and everything worked fine.

thanks so much! this has actualy worked! im glad cos this hassnt been working for a few weeks now.

Do you mind me asking what this actualy does tho?? is it just reseting all the old cache files or something??

Thank you so much for sharing this. Would you please follow the steps below? Please perform these steps with the Microsoft store and the Xbox app closed and make sure there are no games being downloaded or installed on both apps.

- Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Microsoft Store > Advanced Options > Repair, then Reset.

- Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Xbox App > Advanced Options > Repair, then Reset.

- Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Gaming Services > Advanced Options > Repair, then Reset.

- Press Windows + R. Type TEMP and press enter. Delete all the files inside this folder. Repeat this step by typing %TEMP% and Prefetch. Delete everything on both folders too.

- Press Windows + R. Type WSRESET and press enter.

- Restart your computer. Run Powershell as administrator and run the following command:

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

(this command can show you some errors, this is normal, just wait until it finishes)

- Restart your computer one more time. Open the Microsoft store and sign in with your Microsoft account. Open the Xbox App and sign in with the same account as the Microsoft store.

- Check your computer region/country and language and please make sure it is the same as your Microsoft account (https://account.microsoft.com/profile). Also check your time zone and date/time is correct.

- Go to Start > Type Services > Open it. Find all Xbox Services (Xbox Accessory Management Service, Live Auth Manager, Live Game Save, Live Networking Service, Gaming Services). Right Click > Properties> Set the startup type to Automatic. Also Start them.
