I somehow got a free Elder Scrolls Online..?

The lady from Xbox support said shes putting a note on my account just in case a charge pops up. They had me change my password. And she said if im charged it will be voided and I can keep the game lol..

Im not even likely to play it..

Mini-Survey: How do you purchase your digital content on Xbox Live?

A mix of Credit Card and online gift cards. The Xbox Live marketplace is weird for me, it charges me tax when using a credit card directly, but doesn't charge me any tax when using my Microsoft account balance. So usually what I tend to do is always makes sure I have something in my account balance so when I use my credit card, it only subtracts what was left over after taking from the account, and this never includes tax.

I preorder 25th and my account still hasn't been charged. Friends got charged 31.10 and their console was sent. I'm still waiting

I had three charges 1699 for game pass and two ghost charges of $49.99 and $1.99

The $16.99 charge was right but was still denied because I had no money in my account but I still did not authorize the $49.99 plus the $1.99 charge.

I had a 49.99 charge on my account from Microsoft on my bank statement plus a $1.99 charge multiple times for both. Both charges were denied so I'm not out of money but when I contacted Microsoft they could not find the charges like they never existed I gave them both of my accounts that I had my card number on it they couldn't find it they ran my card number through the database still could not find the charge I sent them screenshots of my bank statement proving my point they still could not find the charges this is very worrisome because I want to know who has my card information..

I will still continue to use Microsoft Xbox I've had it since 2007 I love it but it's still worrisome does anyone else have this same experience any answers please comment or reach out. Blackwolf117

Hm, that sounds pretty odd. It's important to get to the bottom of it. First thing you should do is check the purchase history on your Microsoft account. Any charge from Microsoft would be there, with a line item saying what the charge was for. Click on your profile on the top right of this page and choose Microsoft account. On the next screen, the bottom option is Order history:

View recent purchases made with your Microsoft account

Check there to see if the charges appear. If they are from Microsoft and tied to your profile, they would be there.

Ordered mine from the Microsoft store and it still says this. They charged my card on the 16th, and it's still pending under my bank account, but the hold for the full amount has been placed on my account but according to the Microsoft payment hub my charge
is listed as settled. I'm starting to freak out now, it's 3 days until release and it still hasn't shipped...

And I still got charged.. but if that's the only way, what's the number? And I made sure auto renewal was off before i deleted the account off my console and still got charged.
