Xbox stereo headset breaking

Discus and support Xbox stereo headset breaking in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I have gone through 2 xbox stereo headsets and both of them broke in the exact same spot in the exact same way.     Xbox stereo headset breaking


    I have gone through 2 xbox stereo headsets and both of them broke in the exact same spot in the exact same way. They both broke 5-6 months after purchasing them. The right side of the headset, the plastic part, cracked and is extremely sharp, anyone else
    having this problem?

    Xbox one stereo headsets breaking

    I have had two xbox one stereo headsets, both are now broken, well within “fair wear and tear”.

    The first headset the earpiece literally broke off. The second the microphone no longer works, neither does the audio from the attached earpiece.

    I expected better quality from a product that costs $AU60 a piece.

    What are my options, xbox support?

    Recommendation needed for Xbox One X headphones

    I would recommend the official Xbox brand stereo headset as it claims to be compatible with all xbox one wireless controllers:

    It probably doesn't need the stereo headset adapter - but if you're going to buy this headset, better just buy the stereo headset adapter to get your other headsets, that you already own, to work properly

    There's many more headset makers than just Turtle Beach. They're also known for being cheap (pieces breaking off easily), so looking into other stereo headsets might be good. But definitely getting a dedicated gaming headset (even if its not a surround sound
    one) will be better than the default Xbox ones.
