    I^ve bought my first Headset for Gaming at all, it^s the xbox Stereo Headset.

    I understand know helpful a Gaming Headset can be.

    But for me it sounds that the xbox Stereo Headset is using very low Budget Drivers.

    I have tested a normal Sony Audio Headphones, and I found it sounded more. more colorful and stronger better balanced.

    Now I^m wondering if there are gaming Headset which or not so high Level pitched, with a Little more solid bass and a not so strong De-balancing of left and right.

    with De-balancing I mean where the sound-stage Comes a Little bit compacter from the front.

    What I want to say it is way much better than only TV-Speakers, but I also was disappointed.

    I thought there is more Quality in it.

    And after 2-3 hours gaming the "Head-Clip" is causing some Little pain from pressure, because it is not very good padded, fittet..

    alnd also to Mention is that there are Lacks in SoundTransmission of Sound and Chat. what I not have expected from a Microsoft Accesoirs. Maybe from a ThirdParty product but it would be also bad.

    The positiv-part Feedback is maybe because I never used another gaming Headset, and the diffrence between TV-Speakers is worth... for knowing that a Headset is much better than Speakers. But the xbox Stereo Headset is not really good I think..

    I can understand your frustration with all the bad luck you have been having. And, for the record, I am not part of the Microsoft staff nor an Xbox customer support employee. But, I can say that we have 2 Xbox Ones and 1 Xbox One S, and 2 of the

    Xbox One Stereo Headsets    . And, both headsets work well, with and without the
    Stereo Headset Adapters    , on all our Xboxes.

    Recommendation needed for Xbox One X headphones

    I would recommend the official Xbox brand stereo headset as it claims to be compatible with all xbox one wireless controllers:

    It probably doesn't need the stereo headset adapter - but if you're going to buy this headset, better just buy the stereo headset adapter to get your other headsets, that you already own, to work properly
