Xbox Stereo Headset Adapter Not Compatible With Studio Beats?

I have checked these out they are not for gaming you can get better gaming headsets for a 3rd of the price

All- you cannot use the inline mic for audio on Xbox. I have Beats Studio headphones and I had the same issue. It has something to do with the fact that the microphone is designed for phone calls, not game consoles, or something.

There is a pretty cheap workaround since you already have the two most expensive parts (the headphones and the controller adapter). Just buy a mic that is headphone compatible (here is the one I used:

I have a Jabra Revo which works pretty fine and is also more a smartphone than a gaming headset
