Xbox Stereo Headset Adapter Not Compatible With Studio Beats?

I recently purchased the adapter and i have audio for games but the mic is not working. I have done everything I can but nothing seems to work. Pleas keep in mind that I have updated the controller and the Xbox One. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately the Venom Headset XT is not compatible with the xbox one without an official xbox stereo headset adapter.

Which model of headset do you have in detail and how many sections (3 or 4?) has your 3.5mm jack connected to your adapter?

 

i have the wireless studio beats the 2013 version and the audio jack is 3.5mm and yes it has connected

this one has two 3.5mm cables - did you use the RemoteTalk cable?

yes that is the one and yes i used the wire with the remote talk

 

hmm - I have a similar one (jabra) and it worked - did you try Skype with the audio test function to verify if your headset works correctly?

 

start your skype app and follow the login process aso. when you completed you can see your contacts and one of those is the echo/ sound test service - call this contact and follow the voice instructions - if you can here your recorded void your headset works

yes i did it and after the beep i said hello a couple of times still nothing played back to me.. for some reason the mic will not work.

 

hmm ok another question - do you have a rather current smart phone where you can try out your headset if its working there? technical background to this: there are two standards for connecting a headset which are called omtp and ctia and they are differently

Disturbed Hype when you updated your controller did you have your headset adapter and head set plugged in, also the adapter controls the game/mic level if you have another cable try that instead of the remote talk.
