    what up guys. Does anyone know if you're ASTRO A40s 2011 edition works okay with the chat adapter? I've looked all over on the internet and can't seem to find anything regarding the 2011 edition. thanks

    Best headset for IN-GAME audio Day One?

    Microsoft will be making a small adapter so the astro a40s will work with the One.

    Xbox Stereo Chat Adapter work with ASTRO A40s 2011?

    I have the SR3 edition, which I'm pretty sure is the same as the 2011s. They work fine plugged into the headset adapter, although I honestly prefer the bass I get from the mixamp.

    Since the optical now passes dolby digital, either option should be good for you.

    all i can say is make sure you update them before using them also if you want the best then go with ASTRO i use ASTRO A40's got them in 2011 and work fine im getting the new GEN 2 astro a40's next week they say they work for ps4 but they work fine with xbox
    one you just need a mic cable and chat adaptor the mic cable is £6you can also get wireless astros which are the a50's also if you dont care for 5.1 or 7.1 then the astro a40's built for xbox one and the mix amp is on the controller they are £170 and stereo
