    Xbox Stealing My Money


    I am a good combination of confused and infuriated right now. Xbox credited my account with a month of gold before receiving any payment from me, after a no longer working credit card was set up for a One Month Trial, and now I'm expected to pay 9.99 for
    a month of Live that should have never worked in the first place... Now my 12 month pre-paid subscription is suspended..

    Not sure why they would EVER credit an account with Xbox Live Gold without the person having paid for it before hand...

    The billing date and renewal date are not always the same day. You can use billing.microsoft.com to check the dates.

    thanks for the quick reply, I used to get an email when Microsoft renewed my Xbox live membership but I have not had one since I used my years redeem code. I got my bank statement through the door today telling me

    MICROSOFT *XBOX

    0800 587 1102

    Have taken 5.99 on the 16th May, from my debit card

    Why? I used my redeem code on 12/05/2011

    Sorry to hear you're upset. However, as your issue is strictly a billing one you should contact phone support for more assistance. If you live in North America then you should dial 1-800-469-9269

    I was given a one month trial when I bough my xbox that automatically changed to a recurring one month membership. Last month I upgraded the monthly gold membership to a yearly one. Yet this month, Microsoft still charged my account the monthly fee on top
    of the yearly one. So I am now essentially being charged for two live accounts even though I only have one! The "contact us" tabs on the Microsoft website don't open to anything, neither does the live chat option. When I tried to cancel the monthly subscription,
    the screen said the only one I have is a yearly membership, even though they just charged me the monthly fee last week!!

    I live in Ireland, I can't find any other way of dealing with this issue from the Microsoft website.

    are you sure it stated ea subscription or did it state and ea account, if ea account that is normal as its an ea game and al ea games need an ea account to play online or off most of the time.
