Xbox Stays On 1 minute then shuts down

When the xbox is on it wont even send a signal to my screen, ive had if 1 year its the One X and its never had any issues. Ive done everyrhing previous forums have said and i have had no luck, neither did the previous posters, but their forums were all locked as if they had. It gets pretty hot in the back when i turn it on as if the fans wont kick on so i put a fan behind it to keep it cool, nothing changed. The front button reset method doesnt work, the eject button just dings and the other button does nothing. I went to work after watching some netflix and come in 4 hours later to this.

***If your suggestion is to send it in for maintenance, dont comment because you dont know what youre talking about if your only answer is to pay them to figure it out.

Sorry to hear you are having issues with your Xbox series X. But don't worry, If your console shuts down unexpectedly while you are streaming content, try clearing your persistent storage:

1-Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2-Select Profile & system > Settings > Devices & connections > Blu-ray > Persistent storage.

3-Turn off and unplug your console, and then wait 5 minutes.

4-Plug in and turn on your console, and then try to stream the content again.

If the issue still persists, Please try one of the following solutions.

The console may be too hot. Turn the console off, wait for an hour to let it cool, then turn the console back on (also make sure your console is in a well-ventilated spot).

You can also change the console settings so it doesn’t turn off automatically.

Turn on the console.

1-Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2-Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Power mode & startup.

3-Under Options, set Turn off after to Don’t turn off automatically.

Try doing a hard reset on your console. Hold the power button on the console for 10 minutes or until it shuts down completely. Let it stay down for a couple of minutes then power it back up and see if the issue is resolved.

If that doesn't work try removing and re-downloading your profile. Good Luck!

Thanks i will try waiting for 5 minutes as i was only waiting for 1 minute before.

I seem to have to wait for about 20 seconds with my finger on the power as it firstly shuts down after a second, then starts after a couple more seconds, then finally shuts down after 20 seconds!!!??

I was just doing the restart but for the last couple of times I have done a full shut down and let it stay off for about a minute or more. Sometimes overnight. I will look into the factory reset option.
