Xbox Status glitch

I noticed a recent glitch happen on my xbox one where instead of the status changing from the game i was playing to me on my home screen it would stay stuck on playing Dante's Inferno when i was not playing the game anymore. No matter how many times i shut down, restart, even reset the system the glitch would still be there and now the glitch has shown up on my xbox game bar on my windows laptop as well when i've been off of my xbox one and not playing any games on my laptop. Is anyone else having this problem or has had it and knows how to fix it i've tried to get a hold of xbox support about about it but no response from an agent on their twitter account so i've taken it here to see if anyone else know how to fix the problem or if i'm just stuck with the glitch.

The glitch still happens and i have no games running in the background on xbox when i am on the home screen it still shows i'm playing a game i quit playing. Then on my hp laptop it will show on my xbox game bar the same exact glitch on it as well when i don't have any games running on my laptop and i am using it for youtube and reading. The only way i can fix it when it happens after playing a 360 game is sometimes trying to play another game and quitting it but most of the time it doesn't work even doing that. I have even tried shutting down, restarting, and resetting the xbox the first time it happened and it didn't work it took a while for the glitch to fix itself. Just today the glitch happened again after I played injustice gods among us that is a 360 game i just recently bought from the store. I have no public test servers for any of my games downloaded for the glitch to happen so I really don't know what caused the glitch to being with.

Is the game still running in the background? I would check the quick start menu to see if there is anything there and confirm that the game is completely shut down.

If that doesn't resolve your issue, please report the problem on the Xbox console to help Team Xbox further investigate the issue.
