Xbox startup problems

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. Have all the basics been done? If you havent already, try performing a

power cycle on the console and the power supply. If the issue persists, I recommend performing a

soft factory reset.

This will reset the operating system and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps. You will have to re-sign into your account, so make sure you know the email and password
before performing this step. This will also reset the home Xbox settings.

Since you are not able to navigate to the settings, you will have to bring up the troubleshooting screen. To bring up the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter, follow these steps :

1. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.
   
2. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.
3. Press and hold the BIND button (located below the Xbox button on the console) and the
   EJECT button (located on the front of the console), and then press the
   Xbox button on the console.
4. Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.
   
5. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the
   BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.
6. The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

From here, you can select reset console And keep my games and apps.

Hi there,

It's on the left side near the USB port, its the button to pair the controller.

Where is the “bind button” on original xbox one? Theres no button below the xbox one for me

The green (or boot) screen only loads after you've reset the console or had a power outage. I can't understand how it can be logging you in and not defaulting to the dashboard. Even in those instances where my internet has been acting up, I'll always get
a bare bones interface (devoid of ads etc). Have you checked your A/V connections? Is your router functioning properly? You can't be logged in without seeing *something* on your screen - least of all an error message, which would only appear if you couldn't
log in.
