    Xbox standby, but Skype says i´m on


    Hey together,

    since the march or February Update my Friends told me i`m the whole Day online on Skype. There are no installations on my Smartphone or PC. I used Skype never bevor the one.

    I recognize this problem only after the last two updates. Earlier there was no problems when i turn my console into standby.

    Is there someone else how recognize this after the last two Updates or have this any other reason and nothing to do with the xbox?

    What is my one doing online while in standby?

    Mine and my friends skype shows as online and available when the xbox in in standby, this needs fixing to show people as offline i think.

    Skype Crashes

    Hello guys!

    I got a problem with the skype app. It started after I put the console in standby mode.

    After restart the console when I launch Skype it logs in and immediately crashes.

    I tried to shut down the console but it didn't worked.

    Any tips??

    I am sorry to hear about he Skype issue you are experiencing. Have been able to accept calls from your friends through Skype? Can you test something for us? Sign in to your console and have a friend with Skype do the same. Ensure that the both of you are
    online. Proceed to have your friend call you and see what happens. I have read on Skypes forums pages that people miss calls when their friends think they are online and in fact they are not. Might have something to do with it being on standby mode. Try also
    removing yourself from standby and give that a go.



    Report back when you have tried that test.

    Of course, because Skype will be the new communication feature like party chat and video chat. Gold users have access to Video Kinect and Xbox Live Party Chat for Xbx 360, so they will have access to a similar thing for Xbox One which is Skype. M want's
    us to use Skype which is why it's going to be a key feature in Xbox One.

    * I like how it doesn't abruptly disconnect you from Xbox Live every time there's a system or game Update, something which Xbox 360 does.

    * I love the controller. Kinect can read QR codes and does a fair job at picking up your voice.

    * They've added in a battery indicator, recent players list, and improved the friends list, and the console now has Dolby Digital support thanks to an update. This proves M is listening to feedback.

    Received an email saying I can use my turtle beach Dolby headset to chat on Xbox 1 since M now does an adapter according to the email. What I and several others would really like next is Voice Messaging between other Xbox 1 consoles. It's an important "Xbox"
    feature which is on 360 but not 1. It needs to be on Xbox 1. One of my Xbox friends sent me a voice message via Skype but on Xbox 1 Skype's app, I can't open it because "This version of Skype doesn't support that yet".
