I only used found or purchased stuff in TES4: Oblivion

Crafting is one of the most annoying things ever (in my book) because I want the weapon / armor / whatever immediately.

Crafting requires finding the blue prints and materials, so annoying!

Like I said before, I either find or buy my weapons / armor / whatever

I honestly can't see you enjoying Fallout 4 Lei. Although Bethesda did say you can totally avoid settlement and weapon craft, fact is it plays a huge part of the game that's hard to avoid.

Reason I've brought up Fallout is because I've seen you post that you're waiting for the GOTY version before.

I never crafted anything in Fallout 3, I need to craft in Fallout 4

I found everything or bought everything in Fallout 3.

It's just it's such a massive part of the game. You can avoid 90% of the crafting but you'll be left with underpowered weapons and armour. There is maybe 4-5 where you have to craft items.

That is the problem...

When the uncrafted weapons are so under-powered to the point where crafting is required to excel at the game.

This is so messed up!

Obviously, crafted weapons are going to be better, but the uncrafted weapons need to be effective too.

There are some weapons that are still effective that legendary enemies drop, there is also a very good rifle you can buy from another vault.

All is not lost Lei, and I could be wrong by saying you probably won't enjoy the game. Maybe it will be the game that you actually enjoy crafting in?

 

^ I never crafted any weapons myself. Just moded the Deliverer, I did do some crafting but only for cheevo purposes. I would say 4 is playable with no crafting.

 

I'm quite surprised by that Genchy, I thought you'd of enjoyed the crafting side of the game.

 

^ I'm not against it in games, just never really got into it in 4 weapon wise, I did make a lot of drug combos though.....

 

Wish I could post a few screenshots for you to see of my fortress on top of the red rocket lol.

 

I actually hope the next Monster High or Diablo game have crafting elements.
