    XBOX SPILT DRINK


    So I turned my xbox off the moment I stood up grabbed my coffee it slipped went everywhere not sure how much went in the xbox but definitely splashes around the top vents.. I opened the xbox up took casing off and left it for maybe 6 hours.. I turned it on decided it be easy amd just try watch some youtube maybe 10 minutes later it shut off . So I turned off the power source at the wall I guess in wounder why it turned off everywhere I ask it just keep saying heat related and or check vents do a power reset even when I say not heat related .. who has been through this and what was your luck trying to work out my percentage of this xbox working again .. I'll leave it over night and try again tomorrow

    For me it was when i spilt a drink all over my controller, luckily it was under warranty, and microsoft replaced it free of charge...... took three weeks to arrive though šŸ˜€

    I donā€™t think there is a support page for how to clean an Xbox One controller. I have had my controller for a few years now and I would say just consider the basics like being careful when eating food and playing games, avoid sweets, spilt pop/fizzy drinks.

    These controllers are pretty tough but a bit of common sense and care and they will last ages.
