Xbox Social App freeze during Club Customization... Erroneous name change!!!

Guys...

I was working on customizing my club earlier today...

I went in to the name change area and was checking out name availability (to see if I could rename my club to something new) and the Social Application froze/hanged/locked..

Obviously, I force quit the app and reloaded, but when I got back in, they had changed the club name! No confirmation, no nothing! So now my club has some ridiculous name that makes no sense, and the system won't let me change it! (It says I only get
one change, and already used it....)

Can we please fix this? I don't want my club to disband because of some typical xbox BS, but I can't do anything... Can we at least revert the name back to what it was, and leave it? I didn't even WANT to change the name, I was just checking out my options.

Gta 5 phone camera not working

For the moment, I don't think you can take pictures (For social club at least). You can take pictures for mission related stuff though, its the yellow app next to the internet app on your phone. When you use it during a mission it will work, but off mission
it says it can't connect to the social club server or so. They're still trying to fix some things if you haven't noticed .

I'm sorry to see any issues with customizing your Club! We haven't seen any issues with Clubs in particular on the Xbox App, but did resolve an issue with Looking for Group earlier this week.

Can you please post with what the original name of your Club was and what it changed to? A screenshot of what it looks like now would be best. We can get this off to the right people to look into from there.

Note that we are not open during the weekend, and will not be able to further assist until Monday. However, if you bump it over the weekend, I'll have notifications to check this thread for you.

Alright, so here's the info:

Club Origin Name: "Dark Souls 3 PlayerLink"

Club Current Name: "Dark Souls Deciples" <--wth..

I was in this screen, checking on different names that might be available for the club, when the social app on my Xbox One froze:



Now, there is this window that says I already changed my name once, but that is just not true. I never confirmed or even submitted a name change, just used the "Check Availability" button!

So the Club has lost members, and this is the current homepage:



Lame. I've tried to make the best of this name change, but I don't want it! I want my original name back!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm going to test things around on my end, see if I can get the same thing that you see. I'll post back with my results after.

Side note - Notifications are something that we are working on, however they are not fully implemented. Luckily, I have ways to see the updates to this thread. If you haven't already, I suggest bookmarking this and checking over the course of 24 hours
after you post, as that's generally how we work here.

After receiving some information from the teams that work on Clubs, it's been determined that because the original name of your Club was considered the one change nothing can be done. The initial names of Clubs where you can change it once are "Club [Gamertag]";
any changes after that are considered the one name change that is done. If you would like the original name of your Club set up again, you will need to create a new Club with that.

I am sorry to say that I cannot help any further, but I appreciate you bringing this to our attention! Please do let me know if there's anything else we can do to help you out with your Xbox-related questions.
