    Xbox Snap problem

Has anyone been having problems connecting to the chat on Xbox One? My boyfriend and I are intense gamers and ever since we switched from 360 to One its been nothing but problems. The chat feature never works and take about 7 tries to finally connect to
party chat and sometimes it just refuses to connect. Let me know what you all have experienced.

Im thinking it could be a network issue but i'm not sure.

    :)

  2. GOOD WAY TO THE FIX UI.

Xbox Snap Activity will do a similar thing to Friends.

Pins and Snap (for party) effectively solve this problem.

    Heya Trunk77.

Sorry to hear about the frustration. The snap feature varies from app to app and is up to the App or game developers to enable it. Please be sure not to bump older threads and instead create a new thread detailing your issue, as this thread is from last
    year. Thank you!

It does certainly sound like a network issue. I know I haven't personally had issues connecting to parties, but I have had intermittent issues talking to people in parties, but that's another issue.

I would definitely try resetting your network, power cycle your modem and router/gateway, and then get on a computer and get into your router and make sure all your X1 ports are open. Here is a list of them:

    XboxOne Ports to Open:

Port 88 (UDP), Port 3074 (UDP and TCP), Port 53 (UDP and TCP), Port 80 (TCP), Port 500 (UDP),Port 3544 (UDP), Port UDP 4500 (UDP)

Then make sure you have your NAT type set to OPEN. After doing this I would clear your MAC address and let the system reset. It's shotgun trouble shooting, but I'm fairly certain something in here should help.
