Xbox snap help

Sorry to hear about the Snap issue! When this happens, are you already in a game or app? Does the screen eventually get to where you intended to go? Post back with that information, but for good measure, try doing a full power cycle to clear the system cache!


To power cycle your Xbox One console, follow the steps here:

• Press and hold the power button on the Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
  
• Once the unit is powered off, unplug the power cable from the Xbox One and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  
• Plug the power back into the unit and power the console on.

Post back with the info and let us know how the power cycle goes!

This sounds like you have snapped the help app.

If you have Kinect, say "Xbox, unsnap"

If you don't have Kinect;

Quickly double tap the Xbox button on your controller

A Cross icon will appear between the game and the snapped app.

Press DOWN on D-Pad to select "Unsnap"

To snap an app again, double tap the Xbox button and follow on screen prompts.

When you say "Xbox, Snap" the focus changes from the main app to the snapped app and this is what your controller is controlling. To quickly swap back you can double-tap the Xbox Guide button or say "Xbox, Switch". Hope this helps for the next time.

I would like a xbox snap friends, stay in main, so i can load the snap up the snap app but carry on playing until its loaded, but I agree, saying the snap friends is very cool IMO
