    Xbox Smartglass


    I have an iPhone 7+. After the most recent Xbox dashboard update, SmartGlass no longer works as a keyboard. All other functions work, but when I want the little box to pop up so that I can type out whatever it is I want, it no longer does. I've made sure
    the apps are up to date, hard reset my Xbox and phone, with no results. This is for the Xbox Console. Friends are having the same issue. Was this feature removed?

    Xbox Smartglass

    Just seen this. I have the very same issue on my end. I play a lot of Elder Scrolls Online and use the text pad too but no longer pops up. Very frustrating to not have it. I managed to fix it for a while until I turned my Xbox off it went back to the same
    issue next day. I hard reset my console and router. Hope this gets fixed

    - Check that the correct version of SmartGlass installed on your iPhone 5 as there is two versions available - Xbox One SmartGlass

    - Sign into both SmartGlass and the Xbox One using the same Windows passport (Gamertag) credentials.

    - Check that your Xbox One allows SmartGlass connections

    1. Press the Xbox button to return to Home.
    2. Press the Menu button, and then select Settings.
    3. In the Console settings column, select Preferences.
    4. Under SmartGlass Connections select From any SmartGlass device.
