Xbox slowing down internet speed

So recently my internet has been trash, I would be playing NBA 2K19 and it would be a lag fest in online gameplay, I ran a speedtest and my download speed was 12mbps, I turned off my Xbox one and ran a speedtest again and my download speed was 300mbps. (I
pay for internet 300) Then when I turn on my Xbox one my internet speed becomes abysmal again. I've searched this up and found an answer by resetting my Xbox, but it didn't seem to work.

I have also restarted my router multiple times, tried Ethernet and a wireless connection, but it doesn't change anything.

Thanks for the reply, but this video isn't very helpful because when my Xbox is turned on, my internet speed for all devices is affected, and when my Xbox is turned off, the speeds are normal for all devices.

Do you try using another router. just for discard any issue with it...

We thank you for bringing this inquiry to our forums community, and understand that this concerns your Xbox One affecting the network connection for other devices when the console is turned on.

This may be indicating that the router is currently setup to designate a large amount of the bandwidth from the network to the Xbox One console.

It would be best to get in touch with your internet service provider to discuss ways of expanding the network so that there is a shared distribution of the current network connection.

Try this and then let us know the results.

I don't have another router otherwise I would, and I'm sure it's an issue with the Xbox as the internet speed only is affected when the Xbox is turned on.
