Xbox slowing down and not loading properly

Hi there,

As of late, my Xbox has had a ton of issues starting with it freezing while I was in the middle of numerous games. I didn't think it was too big of a deal because I would just close the game and it would go back to running normal. But a couple days ago,
I started getting error codes and was sent to the 'Something went wrong' error page. When I finally got onto the dashboard, I clicked my home button which usually brings up the sidebar with all recent games which you all know, but this time my screen just
got dim and nothing popped up. I've tried many times to force shut it down, with no results. I have tried to do the offline update, and I am still having trouble getting it to work. I also have tried a complete factory reset wiping everything from my xbox,
but I am still having problems with the startup and the screen freezing when I do make it to the dashboard.

If anyone has had a similar experience and has advice, It would be greatly appreciated. Hoping I don't have to buy another Xbox.

power cycle
of the console.

If the problem persists, try doing a
soft factory reset of the console,
Reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email/passwords for your Xbox profiles and have a stable internet connection.

Try this out and let us know the results.

This did not do anything.

Thanks for the reply. I'm sorry to hear that the issue is still present after the soft factory reset. The next step is to do a full factory reset of the console.

If the issue persists, I would recommend to contact Customer Support
for further assistance or visit the Device service and Repair
site.

Load times can be slowed down by alot of things for example if another game is updating it may slow down your xbox. It could also be WiFi reasons.

Ok, there's a maneuver that may fix it.

Remove the hard drive and boot up without it, denying any update offers, finish the start up offline.

Power down properly, restore the HDD, and boot up as normal.

Sometimes this rids the console of whatever makes it load slow.
