    Xbox slow since summer update.


    Since my brother updated his console to the summer update yester day, it been running really slow. The games fail to work and will force close, or they won't connect to the game servers. At time it won't register controller inputs and then do them all at
    once.

    I updated my xbox to the summer update and mine is working fine.

    Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

    Xbox slow since summer update.

    Try doing a hard reset exactly like this. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.
    Once it is back up and operational test the results.

    If that doesn't work you could go with a factory reset. Try the option to keep the games and apps first. support.xbox.com/.../reset-console-to-factory-defaults

    The hard reset didn't work but the factory reset seems to be working upto now.

    Have this problem as well with an achievement. It seems Xbox One is having tons of issues at the moment... Since the Summer Update I believe.

    Summer has always been somewhat of a slow season for game releases. Not a bad thing since it gives me a chance to catch up on my back log but just wait for Fall. You'll be broke but have plenty of games lol
