Xbox slow download speed

Ive been having troubles with the download speed on my xbox one s. My internet is 60 mb, but on my xbox its around 1-2 lately at best(everything else seems fine upload, pocket loss, ping, etc), while on my other devices theres no problem. Tried every basic
thing like factory reset. The problem doesnt seem to come from my provider(atleast according to them). Any tips/ solution? Anyone encountered something similar?

Slow connection

Hi,

My download speed on XBL is really slow causing lag and well slow download speed. It's fine on PC. It's been like this for days.

And sometimes I can't even sign in from slow connection speed. (It's Ethernet connection)

New Xbox One Owner, question about download speed

I never had a problem with download speed. I use a wired connection of 10 mbps and download speeds are pretty much what I'd expect, but lots of people are complaining about it recently. That's not an issue exclusive to Xbox either... Slow download speed on PS4?

If your download speeds are slow that would be internet related not the Xbox .

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. Are you connecting the console to the network through an ethernet cable or WiFi? The ethernet cord will give a better download speed. There are different categories of ethernet cords that allocate different
speeds. An example is the CAT6 which allows a Gigabit of download speed. We recommend making sure there are no applications, games or other downloads that are active as this can slow down the overall download speed. The article entitled

Your download speed is also highly dependant on what speed you get from your ISP. How can MS improve download speeds, if your connections are slow. Do you even know what your speeds are?

I'm on 120Mb/s down 10Mb/s up. No slow downloads here. As for an HD iTunes movie, they are typically around 3GB, a typical Xbox One game is between 10 and 50GB.
