xbox slim won't turn on all the way

The little dot in the middle comes on and you can hear the fans going but thats all. We took it to a repair shop. he said it was just dusty. Said he cleaned it and that it worked fine. Went home, same problem. We thought then it must be the power cord
and got a new one. No good. Took it back to the repair shop. They said it needed a part, they ordered it and put it in and declared it fixed. Came home, same problem. Repair shop manager said he played a game on it for 20 minutes and check it all out
hisself to make sure everything was fine. He has no idea why it won't turn on when its at my house. Any ideas?

My controller won't turn on all the way

Can someone please help me? My controller won't completely turn on. If I press the xbox button, it lights up twice then turns off. Even if I hold the button, it does the same thing. It's connected to my xbox already and the batteries were just opened. I
don't know what's wrong with my controller.

xbox turns on the make a beep like it turns on

My xbox 360 slim turns on then off after making the beep if its going to turn on but it doesn't the CD tray will open all the way and close all the when pushing the button for the tray and then power button it closes all the way but the xbox doesn't stay
on. please help.

sorry once you have anybody other than MS fix it you cannot get any help on the forums your only option is to buy a new 360 as self repair is not allowed and talk of it is not allowed. even if that shop got it to work you could be console banned for system
tampering as only MS is authorized to repair 360 consoles.

as DutRank said get a slim. It seems like your xbox is on it's way out, soon all your other games won't work

while you still can i would go trade in your xbox

The best solution for this hardware issue is... get a PS4. I did and can't be happier.

I am having this same problem. I have gone through the reset power supply solution and the light always stays on, but the console won't power on. It tries to, but won't get there. Is there a reason for this? Is it an easy fix I can do at home? I really don't
have the money right now to send in the console for repairs, let alone buy a new one.

If possible can you try following the support guide below selecting the option of I need to update my console offline. When the troubleshhoting screen first loads try the option to reset this Xbox and when prompted select to keep games and apps.

If this does not then try completing the update offline on the console
