XBOX SLIM 2TB NO GAMES BUNDLE ON DAY 1 APART FROM MIROSOFT DEALS ?

Hi this kind of sucks i swear on this web site UK OR US that if u pe-order u can get the slim with NBK 17 Fighting game or Halo 5 and Halo Mast chief collection ? i went to my local Game UK store asked 29//07//2016 and asked if they know on the day would
be any deals from what they can see or dont know yet they think u ust gt the console no game bundle offers is this a joke ? If yes i might cancel my order and wait to october instead paying paying £350 if i get the GEARS WAR 4 Console in red i only have to
pay extra £50 on top.

hello I purchased gears of war 2tb console deal with ultimate edtion inside on the 7th of october that was a preorder and was told the i would receive the codes for all the older games gears 1/2/3 and judgment in my xbox live messages inbox noithing looking
everyday now 22nd October i contacted mirosoft support again and they told me the promotion has ended not very happy

 

Halo bundle is for the 1TB Xbox One S.

I haven't seen any 2 TB bundles.

Why would they have bundles? This white slim model is a console that probably not many people will buy since they announced this one this year AND then the upgraded Scorpio, NEXT year. That wasn't to smart on their part. Why would you buy one this year knowing
full well that next year, an even more powerful one will be out. They must think people will just throw money at them. Now with the Scorpio there will probably be Sooooooooo many bundles, just like all the bundles they had for the 1 just to try to move consoles.
Or, who knows? Maybe before the Scorpio comes out they will have bundles for this slim white console? Just depends on sales and projections.

There are plenty of gamers with plenty of money that don't mind throwing it at times.

Depends on what you want. This unit will play 4k blu ray movies. It will do 4k content. And it will upscale games. Plus, at 1080p you should see solid framerates without the drops that units like the original and PS4 see many times. So those can be
big benefits now. We also do not know what the Scorpio will cost. And if it will be something most would want. If all the games work on the S and Scorpio and the key difference for Scorpio is 4k gaming and VR then it might not be for many for a while at
it is out.

I am picking up an S because of the 4k blu ray and content for my wife. I will use the console for gaming myself for a while and then will get a Scorpio when that launches if I think it worth it after we learn more. Then my wife will play the S model.
It sort of depends on the Scorpio as well on how the Play Anywhere works out. I can play ReCore, Forza Horizon 3, and Gears 4 on my PC. And play it with my wife and sons who will be on PC and Xbox. If more games go that route I would probably just skip
the Scorpio all together.

 

This console will sell to a lot of non gamers because of the blu-ray and 4k, and HDR. The real movie buffs might be interested as it's a class blu-ray player with a great price.

 

And this is why Microsoft loves you people. Wish I had that much money to throw around on a whim everytime MS updated something. OR, guess I'm just happy with my Day 1, and PS4 and update later when it is really worth it.

 

Except, out of the box. The X1S does not have 4k support, for that you need to connect it to xbl and dl an update. (NZ ships x1s early)

Electro...just to let you in on how digital signals work in modern electronics. Most modern TV's and audio/video devices require the proper hardware AND software to keep up with the HD/UHD(4k)/(and whatever is next). Most TV's and UHD disc players can have
their software updated to keep up with protocol changes, this is becoming the norm (excepting cheap throw-away brands, who aren't supporting their products long term). So, if what you say is true (and I can't verify), a software update with the latest HDMI
protocol, is not some sort of conspiracy...just common practice. It is a good thing that these devices can be updated, otherwise they become obsolete real fast. It is when the HDMI consortium makes hardware changes (to the hdmi plug and wiring schema) that
the industry gets shafted. That is why xbox one and ps4 can't do 4k. There have been two major updates to HDMI since these machines released. One was software, one hardware. The protocols moved so fast they obsoleted both consoles for 4k. Blame the HDMI consortium
for this, Microsoft and Sony do not run that show (mainly disc player and TV manufacturers).

 

If you don't have Xbox 1 yet, wait until the much more powerful Xbox Scorpio is out, which by the way, will be more powerful than the PS4 Neo (or 4.5). Xbox Scorpio will have a faster AMD Jaguar APU, 320GB/s bandwidth which is higher than the is it 224GB/s
bandwidth the GTX 980 has. And 6 teraflops computing power thingy, I heard the Xbox S doesn't have as good ventilation as the original Xbox 1, because the crammed a power brick inside, and like the tiny pen sized wholes punched in as 'adequate ventilation'
were as original Xbox 1's have wider ventilation wholes.

 

^ Agree, wait until the Scorpio and/or Neo hits the shelves before buying a current gen console... If you can't wait till then, i've seen new xb1's for as little as $179.98, used for as little as $72.00
