Xbox sim slot

    Why not add a sim slot to the Xbox console to enable it to create it's own internet connection, to eliminate a slow WiFi connection?

    It would almost work like a built in router but a dedicated slot for the internet connection for the Xbox

    Because including a cellular modem is an extemely expensive part, and any cellular providee will provide you with their own compatible hardware. We always recommend a woreed connectiom to the router. Failing that if your wifi is slow you need to get a
    faster router

    I understand your point, and i do acknowledge that inculding a cellular modem would be expensive. But having a wired connection has it's disadvantages, say for instance one wants to move your Xbox, but u can't because of the wires, whereas installing the
    sim slot would eliminate such a problem and have connection even if you want to move your Xbox. Or creating a type of add on device to connect to your Xbox that is it's dedicated internet connection device, where one can put in their own data sim to have a
    constant connection. Or am i missing something?

    I'm by no means trying to argue or "be smarter" than developers, just an idea

    If the slot has been deleted, it can not be recovered as the save has been overwritten. On the

    PC version     it would have been possible (probably).

    How difficult would it be to bring a game like Civilization or SimCity to Xbone?

    Would live to see the sims 3 the sims 4 and the sims city game come to xbox 1 the sims 3 is already on xbox 360 and EA makes the sims on a w.i.d.e variety of platforms.
