Xbox signs out profile automatically when disconnected from internet

For as long as i have owned an xbox one whenever the internet connection was lost, it wasnt a big deal because my profile would stay signed in and i could continue playing games just fine, so long as they were offline games. However, after recently moving
to a place with an unreliable connection i i noticed that when the internet connection is lost, my profile is automatically signed out as well, ( a notification says bye, please sign in with a controller.) This becomes a problem because most games will automatically
return you to the title screen if you are not signed in to a profile, causing me to lose progress and effectively making my consol online only.

I couldnt find anything in settings that may be causing this, and i have power cycled the console. Any ideas what going on? Thanks.

The xbox in question is already my home xbox, i have had it for two years and this problem only started a few months ago.

The issue here is the unreliable connection. More than likely if it's going out constantly then it may be corrupting your gamertag which would need to be deleted and redownloaded.

I would recommend working on getting a better connection or try using a hotspot via your phone if available.

Play offline:

On your home Xbox, you can play downloaded games while traveling, or in the event of a network or service outage. You'll need to ensure that your console is designated as your home Xbox before you go offline.
For more info, see Using Xbox One offline.

If you have more than one Xbox One console, or if you sign in on multiple consoles, we recommend you designate the most frequently used console as your home Xbox.
