Xbox Sign Window Disappears.

i just downloaded the Xbox app and try to login but i got the same problem the sign in window disappears after i click sign in

So, let's try this, first, make sure your windows and all its services are up to date:

Open Settings, click Update and Security and then Windows Update;

Click Check for Updates;

Click the Download and Install Now option, if available;

Also, check the Microsoft Store for any updates on the Xbox apps and its services.

Then try this:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for gaming services app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then restore, open the app and try again.

Then do the same for the Xbox app:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for Xbox app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then restore, open the app and try again.

Then, try to uninstall and install the Xbox app.

If it still doesn't work you're going to uninstall the games services using a powershell command, then you're going to open the gamepass app, it will ask you to download and install the game services again :

In the windows search bar type Powershell > Right click and select open as administrator > Type the command: "get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-Appxpackage –allusers" > Wait for the process to finish and then restart the PC, then open your Xbox gamepass app, it will ask you to install the gaming services again, install it and try again.

If neither of those procedures works, try to restore your PC's OS via the ISO image tool, using that tool you will be able to maintain your installed games and files.

that didnt work either. this is ridiculous. like i am on the xbox app, signed into my Microsoft account but the window to log into my xbox account will not come up. it pops up, flickers, then disappears.

I have the same problem, unfortunately your solution did not help.

My Xbox sign in is also my main user account for Windows, so I cannot remove this and try again easily.

Clicking Sign In simply make the window content briefly disappear, then come back with nothing changed and still not logged in.

Signing in with my profile is working everywhere else, just not in the Xbox app, which means I've lost access to my PC software through it - I'm sure this is the same for other too.

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. I'd be happy to help.

I'm assuming you're on PC based on your description, but I don't think there is a way around the Xbox Live sign-in window. You'll need to sign into the Microsoft account you used to create an Xbox profile and purchased the game.

When the window disappears, can you no longer press any button like it asks to get into the game, or is it on some continuous loop that you can't sign in?

Have you made sure your Windows OS is up to date? The Xbox App has been re-named with the most recent Windows update and is now called the Xbox Console Companion app. If you sign in to Xbox Live there and launch the game from the app, it should allow you
to play since you are already connecting to Xbox Live from the app.
