Xbox sign in issue

I seem to be having trouble with my account sign in. I can sign into the Xbox when I start it up but whenever I start up a game or an application, it signs me straight out of my account and I have to sign back in. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

ho guess it's not just me.Click to expand... What issue are u having I can't sign into xbox live. On xbox.com/status they have acknowledge people are having problems signing in and are working on it.

I had to try to sign in 5 times before it actually let me, lol.

Hey Venaroth!

I'm afraid there's currently an issue with connecting to Xbox Live on the Xbox 360.

The Xbox team is currently working on it and is updating us around every half our on the
Xbox Live Status page.

You can also go there to request a call or text when this issue is resolved.

It's likely that your issues are connected to that ongoing connection problem. Try signing in again when everything is back to normal and let us know if you continue to have any trouble!

This has been on-going for about a month now and I do not have a gold membership, my account gets signed out with any game, requiring live or not.

Good luck. I've been unable to log in for 20 days, and I've paid for Gold service. If you're out of warranty, prepare to have to pay near the cost of a new one.

You can try going to system settings, network, clear your cache.

Use a computer. Log in to Xbox Live using a Microsoft Live Account. Press Profile. Set your birthday and Press Accept. Log in on the Xbox. Worked for me. I was stuck on spinning circle when trying to create the Live Account via the Xbox.

Hello! This could be an issue due to the firewall settings on your router, Keep in mind we have had issues with the servers for the last 2 days now, You may need to set DMZ On your router to prevent this from happening and also a static/reserved IP.

If you would provide the brand of router/modem/gateway you have I would be happy to help solve this for you.

Xbox Live has been having some issues today but when you check the Xbox Live status these look like they are now resolved. Are you still experiencing issues now?

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. I'd be happy to help.

Usually, that issue indicates some problem with your console's connection to Xbox Live. First, please restart your network by unplugging your router and modem for at least 5 minutes. Reconnect your network and while the Xbox is on, go
ahead and do a hard reset and power cycle to the console. Hold down
the power button on the console for about 10 seconds or until it shuts down. Once the Xbox is off, remove the power cable from the Xbox and the power outlet for about 5 minutes. Then re-connect and wait 60 seconds before turning on the Xbox. Holding down the
power button on the console to force a hard reset and then removing the power cable are both important steps.

Let us know if this helps to sign in.

I've never had an issue like this before, so could you explain the situation more. What do you mean that the controller won't let you enter the password once it's typed in?

BTW as far as i know there is no fix, last time this happened it just took a day or so before they fixed the problem
