Xbox sign-in for backwards compatible games not working. Any fixes?

Since you have started using the Microsoft Authenticator app, you will need to use the app's password to sign in to the Xbox 360 games on your console. Please follow the steps below to set this up.

Please sign in to your account at this link, https://account.microsoft.com/.

At the top, select Security.

Under Security Basics, select Advanced Security options.

Under App Passwords, select Create a new app password. It should generate an app password for you. This is the password you need to use to sign in. Let me know if it works.

Have you tried any other backwards compatible Xbox games?

It could be the backwards compatibility software that is corrupt, although I have no clue how you would fix that if it is.
