Xbox shutting off. Series S model

Which model Xbox did you get, Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S? The reason I ask is that the original Xbox can no longer play online, as the Xbox servers were switched off for that model back in 2010.

Maybe Xbox Live is shutting down on the 360 to make way for the series x/series as s?

My S model Xbox stays on after it is shut off. Sometimes I feel it does that because of heat. While my unit is very well ventilated the components inside still get really hot, so I'm thinking it stays on a little bit to cool the components off, once they
reach a certain temp, it shuts off. It would definitely save on the wear and tear on the machine, if this were the case.

nope, series s or x only, even pc's way more powerful than the series x still struggle, it would be like stop motion on the original xbox one and s models.

Reset the console to factory defaults, you won't lose anything but you will need to log in with your account again. Email and password are required.

Follow this path and select reset keeping games and app.

In 5 to 10 minutes you will finish reconfiguring your console

To reset the console>

Settings> System> Console Info> Reset Console

**Do not reset the console without having your login information such as email and password

If the problem persists, try reinstalling these games. If the problem still persists, I'm afraid the console will need to be sent in for repair.
