Xbox shutting down

    Ok how can I return this xbox its still shutting down I received it in january and was told because nba 2k was shutting down its probably a problem with that game but the problem persists with other next gen games as well how can I just return this?

    Thanks for the reply the console doesnt overheat it just says it is as this can happen within a few minutes of turning the xbox on and starting the game i will try to uninstall and reinstall and see if that works

    every time i try to open the activision web site, the warzone(COD game) installations stops and my xbox shuts down... theres nothing wrong with the vent

    When the console restarts do you see a message about overheating and ventilation?

    Check the ventilation holes for dust accumulation and clean them.
