Xbox shutting down when starting a game

I will turn on my console and try to start a game and it will shut down and when I turn it on again it acts like I restartes it big green Xbox screen and so on after it is fine it will load the game without an issue but anytime I turn on my one s after it
has been off for a few hours it will do it again I did a reset on my console and I'm still having this problem what do I do? It shouldn't be a power or overheating problem since all my wires are secure and the xbox is well ventilated.

hi, what you can try is the factory rest with the option to Keep your data:

Thanks. The only one of those steps I havent tried is

Solution 3: Change the console settings so it doesn’t turn off automatically

but that doesn't make sense as none of the settings there allow you to set anything so that it doesn't turn off automatically, rather it lets you restart or do a full shutdown. Its getting a full shutdown already when the problem occurs.

Do you hear any noise from your Xbox before it shuts off? If not, it might be the power supply. When I had this issue that was the cause of the problem. However, I was able to test this theory by using a different power supply. Also, is this happening
with all games or just one?

Thanks. It happens with all games. I don't hear any noise when it happens. It just turns off and goes quiet. The xbox one x is an internal power supply.

You can check to see if your Xbox is under warranty https://support.xbox.com/en-US/browse/xbox-one/warranties-and-repair. If it is you
can take to a Microsoft store or send in for service. If it isnt, if you live by a Gamestop they can run a diagnostic test on your Xbox and catch the problem. But it sounds like this might need to be service or replaced. This is why I am not fond of that
internal power supply.
