Xbox shuts off while playing call of duty

so my Xbox box will randomly shut off when I play call of duty but it will stay on all day for Netflix and Hulu and sling tv but as soon as call of duty plays I can play maybe 2 games and it shuts off mass affect work perfectly fine no issues just call of
duty and I have my instant turn on for the Xbox shut off I don't get it at all very frustrating

BAL ruined the game

While playing call of duty do what call of duty players do. USE THE BAL.!!

(while in rome do what the romans do.)

Xbox crashes while playing Call of Duty

I am having the exact same issue. It's only games app's and everything else works fine. So right now I have a 500 dollar really cool Ruko pretty much.

To start out, do you have your Xbox One sitting in an open and well-ventilated area? If not, make sure it has sufficient breathing room on all sides of the console to avoid overheating.

This is a known issue with the new CoD and Xbox I'm surprised it hasn't been fixed yet. I hear that not being in party chat helps.

If it's happening due to a certain update, it might be happening to others because of some bug. Social media feeds can identify if that's the case. If not so much, are you an Xbox Insider? I assume you know of the option to report the problem, but in the
meantime you could try do unenroll the console and see if that helps.

Concerning the reply above this one, it could also be something to do with dust depending on how long you've had the console and where it is. If you suspect that, cans of compressed air to the vents can always help if the above doesn't.

Try to put the xbox in a good ventilation place and clean it.

Check your console in a open place, like a livin room and restart the game.
