    Xbox shuts off when second Xbox is powered on


    Hello. Just as the title says, I have my Xbox One X and my girlfriend has an original day one Xbox. When my Xbox is on and she turns her Xbox on it will shut my Xbox off even when playing games. Any idea why this would be happening? It just started recently. My
    Xbox is set to turn on the tv but not have the tv turn it off. Hers is not set to turn on anything. For her controller to turn off my xbox should open a prompt for her to turn it off or turn off controller which isn’t happening.

    Turning off Turtle Beach T.A.C. when console is off?

    I'm wondering if there is a way to get my Turtle Beach Tactical audio controller to power off / on with my console? (It's powered by USB) as of now it stays powered when I shut down my Xbox even on energy saving mode...please help!

    New XBox 360e will not perform background downloads when turned off

    Generally this only happens when the console looses net connectivity while powered off... if it looses network connection--even for a second--it get kicked off LIVE and then shut down.

    Can you please provide some additional information on how everything is connected? such as are both console setup in the same room and connected to the same surge protector/power strip.

    Both consoles are in the same room on the same wall. Both connected to same power bar. Two separate TVs.

    It is recommended to connect the console directly to a wall outlet as connecting via power bar / surge protector may cause performance issues with the console. From what you describe it's possible that you may be putting too much load on your power bar and
    this is causing one of the consoles to shut down

    Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We need a few more details to ensure we provide the correct solution. Are you attempting to shut off the projector by shutting down the console first? Does the projector respond differently when you shut off the
    Xbox One X by holding down the power button on the console for ten seconds? Which

    power mode     is the Xbox One X set to?
    I am shutting it off at the console holding down power then turn off. When I hold the power button to shut it off it doesn't seem to send any power of signals to the projector. I have tried both power modes and neither made any difference.

    if is in xbox try to power cycle your console. Please hold down the power button on the front of the console for approximately 15 seconds until the power light shuts off. Wait about 60 seconds, then power it back on. Be sure you see the green "XBOX ONE"

    if is in PC try completely shut down the pc and then try the installation
