Xbox shuts off when I connect to the Internet.

I can sign into my profile when I am offline but when I try to sign in online or try to connect to the Internet while I am logged in, my xbox freezes and shuts down 100% of the time. I think this is a result of the new update released on 11-12-15 for the
Xbox one dashboard. Any assistance would be great!

Xbox one wifi, desperate for help

I've had my Xbox one for a little over a month and I just got home from vacation and I tried to play it but it reset my connection and now when I try to reconnect to my wifi the Xbox will shut off and reset itself every single time. I thought it was my power cord but I tried 6 different ones and I'm still having the same issue. I can play games offline but when trying to connect to the Internet and my wifi signal the Xbox will just shut off and turn back on with some weird Xbox starting screen

Xbox Internet connectivity

My xbox one won't connect to the internet,every time i try to connect to the internet it shuts off and restarts..just as i get done typing in the password and hitting enter it doe that.

I'm having a similar issue when I try to connect to Wi-Fi. It doesn't shut down completely but restarts every time. it forces me to us my wired connection that my computer needs since it doesn't have a wireless adapter, and I like using my computer while
playing xbox.

Hi,

Are you's able to test using an ethernet cable to connect your console directly to your router? This will narrow down where the problem is, however I understand that you may not be able to do this if you don't have an ethernet cable etc.

Also, Halkara, has your console updated to the latest version (NXOE) as well?

mine wont connect to internet... its the only thing in my house that wont connect to internet... hasnt been connecting for almost a week... when i do get it to work, after i shut it off, next time i turn it on... same problem

that always connected thing don't make sense what happens when I shut off my modem?? I don't leave it on 24/7 in the first place.I shut it off when not in use save on the electric bill. I wonder if you need a connection just to use the TV why in gods name
would I need internet to watch tv??

After trying many things I have found out my Xbox One only keeps shutting down when it is connected to the internet, if I plug in the internet cable or connect using wi-fi it will shut almost immediately, but when it is disconnected from the internet it
will stay on all day....weird.
