Xbox shuts itself off when I try to sign into my profile online.

I have talked with people from the support chat and they couldn't find out what the problem was. When I sign in to my profile, my xbox will shut itself off no matter what I try. I have been told that this is happening because the account I'm playing on
was a child account and the update for the dashboard that released on 11-12-15 has affected my profile for that reason. Any solutions?

Xbox One Shutting down

Every time i sign into my profile the xbox turns off by itself. When I sign into my brothers profile it works completely fine. Why is it doing this because I want to play on my profile

 

Xbox shuts off when I connect to the Internet.

I can sign into my profile when I am offline but when I try to sign in online or try to connect to the Internet while I am logged in, my xbox freezes and shuts down 100% of the time. I think this is a result of the new update released on 11-12-15 for the
Xbox one dashboard. Any assistance would be great!

 

I'm having the same issue. I've tried other people's accounts on my Xbox, and theirs works fine. I've also tried signing in on a different console, but after a few seconds, it shuts down as well. This has been happening since the new update.

 

Same here. I've talked with customer support and they said they are having engineers fix my account alongside with other child accounts pretty soon. You just have to wait. .__.

 

Same, at least we're not alone.

 

Ive had the same issue, other child accounts work fine except this one. After following the instructions that customer support gave the profile no longer works offline.

 

The new update still hasn't fixed the problem. Nearly two weeks of not being able to use Xbox live (which isn't exactly free), and this is beyond a joke.

 

Disable Instant Sign-in (From Sign-in, Security @ passkey) for the time begin.

Support say they have this issue highlighted and working on it.

 

Well over a month, and still no progress. I've barely been able to play Black ops 3 and with Christmas in a few days, I would have really expected this to be fixed by now. An absolute joke.

 

I'm getting pretty tired of it. When they finally fix it we better get some sort of compensation.

 

Just curious to whether anyone has heard anything about a fix, almost 2 months in on this problem and still not fixed on my account

 

One major reason why the console shuts off when signing in the child account or playing online would be the child account does not have any parental account. Being said, you need to associate the child account to a parental account. This will surely fix
the issue.
