    My xbox has randomly shutdown and ive tried to take it out of the power and plug it back in and it wont turn back on. it randomly turned off in game so I don't really know what to do.

    Disconnect after one hour of playing

    Do the Xbox shutdown after playing an hour or only disconnect? If shutdown you need go to Settings to change that.

    Why does my Xbox One take 30 seconds to shutdown?

    Why does my Xbox One take 30 seconds to shutdown? My Xbox One always took about 10 seconds to shutdown and for the past 2 days it takes 30 seconds to shutdown...? Usually my Kinect closes first then my console and controller get white flashing lights signaling
    that it's closing it will flash 3-4 times then shutdown within in 10 seconds. Now my console closes first then my Kinect and controller.......? What is wrong with my Xbox One why is it taking so long to shutdown now?? is it breaking or is this normal?? I got
    my Xbox One mid March.

    Sorry to hear about that. If you haven't yet, take a look at the guide for the >>Xbox One unexpectedly turning off<<
    and follow all the steps/suggestions provided there. If none of those steps help, unfortunately your Xbox One console may be in need of repairs. You can initiate that process via the "Repair and Service Center" link at the bottom of the troubleshooting guide
    page.

    Xbox Series X Disc game wants a Gamepass Abo to Start?

    Ok, i've found out what was the problem.

    If you "Turn Off" your Xbox by Pressing Xbox Button and take it afterwards from your power supply, the Disc-Bug will affect the Console with the next Start.

    To avoid this, you have to shutdown the Xbox from Power Settings and chose "Full Shutdown".

    I never realised before that "Turn Off" is not the same as "Full Shutdown".

    Maybe it would be a great enhancement, if "Full Shutdown" becomes avaiable on the Xbox Quick Menu.

    Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently experiencing difficulties with being able to launch a game on your console.

    Does this happen with only this one title, or does it occur with others? Do you have an Original Xbox One, or do you have one of the newer models?

    Its possible that your console could be overheating. I recommend you take a look at the article titled

    Troubleshoot Xbox One unexpectedly turning off     and see if some of the troubleshooting techniques there work for you.

    Give this a try and let us know your results!
