Xbox shut off and won't turn back on

Discus and support Xbox shut off and won't turn back on in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; so I was playing a game and my console just suddenly turned off. Now it won't turn back on.     Xbox shut off and won't turn back on


    so I was playing a game and my console just suddenly turned off. Now it won't turn back on. The TV is on the same power strip and it is working fine. Any thoughts?

    Power supply issues

    Today I was playing on my Xbox when it randomly shut off. I realized it was the power brick that was overheated and turned off. Now about an hour later plugged it back in and it worked fine.Then later that day I went on and it shut off again and now it won't
    turn back on at all.it shows orange light when not plugged into Xbox one and when I plug it into the Xbox it turns white for half a second and turns off.can someone plz help

    Solution to lost cable connection

    After my cable being connected flawlessy for a week, it went out and couldnt find signal. This is what I did and it fixed it-

    While xbox is on, downgrade cable box to 720

    In xbox power setting, turn off "Instant On" and switch it to "Energy Saving"

    Shut down cable box, and turn off xbox (xbox will completely shut down)

    Wait a few mins

    Turn cable box back on

    Turn xbox back on manually w/ controller and wait for startup (won't be able to voice control)

    Switch xbox setting back to "Instant ON" and cable box back to 1080p

    Anyone who has cold war on xbox one and series x please verify

    Yes everything transfers fine to be xbox. Even campaign modes saves where you left off. Good luck though with the Xbox. Mine won't stay running for more then 15 minutes and shuts off. Getting too hot and just shuts off. Controller won't turn machine back
    on and have to manually turn it on.

    UPDATE: I popped off part of the back and noticed it is turning on now but when I try and connect my headset it completely shuts off and won't turn back on until I remove the headset.

    I've had the exact same issue... Whilst using the Xbox the console suddenly shut off and won't turn back on... There is also no LED on the power supply even after unplugging it and plugging it back in :/

    G'day newkindalazy! Can you please clarify: Is your console turning off, or are you being disconnected from Xbox Live? The two issues have some very different solutions and I don't want to go down the wrong path with a misunderstanding!
