    Xbox showing blank tiles and downloading games to apps?


    I just bought four or five games digitally and went to my games and apps to check installation process. When I get there, all the rules for the currently installing and qeued installs are blank tiles and nothing will install. They are also trying to update
    to my apps instead of my games (the sections on the left) I've power cycled multiple times, what else am I supposed to do? Thanks

    I purchased a xbox one s today got home set it up and the gamerpics and dashboard tiles are not showing they are blank?

    Hey there!

    Sorry to hear about the installation troubles and apologies for the delayed response. Are you still having issues installing games or has the issue cleared up for you? If you're still not able to install games, try cancelling the installation completely and
    fully power cycle your Xbox One by holding down the power button for 8-10 seconds. If you're still not able to install after the power cycle please let us know Xbox showing blank tiles and downloading games to apps? :)

    Did the update *** up our gamercards or something?

    The update didn't *** it up, nor is it the forums. Those blank tiles are not actually blank. They are apps. Netflix, Hulu, Last.FM, etc.

    They haven't added in any gamer tile pictures for the apps yet. Those that have been like that for weeks have been in the preview program.

    I recently had this issue with one of my games and it was resolved by restarting my xbox. if the issue continues then i suggest submitting a ticket to the support team

    2 quck questions

    I'm not sure about question 1 I thought that would just automatic tho non of my friends have the X1 yet so who knows it might be. As for question 2 Press the Xbox logo on the controller, to the right of the big tile
    (last app) is a smaller tile saying My Games & Apps. Click that and the first tiles show your active downloads (current installation progress, plus what is queued). Press the menu button on the currently-installing app to cancel, or on the others to resume/start
    download.
