They were people who ordered at midnight nov 10th isnt a preorder its for thr 3rd batch to be fullfilled when they have them

Yiu gotta remember due to the current crisis everything is being delayed and massive world shortages

As far as I know this only happened with the very few retailers with physical units to sell at launch. Gamestop had 2 per store for example. Everyone else that got a launch day order from Microsoft will have to wait for their unit, and are in line behind
those who pre ordered. There is nothing Microsoft can do about retailers who chose to take pre orders past their allotment and cannot deliver consoles at launch. They knew how many they had and chose to over sell knowing some would be cancelled. Turns out
not enough cancellations happened for them to deliver at launch. Its the same principle airlines work on when they over sell flights. If I were one that was burned by it, I would definitely not be giving the retailer who did it any more business but you cannot
blame Microsoft.

Yeah it just doesn't make sense that people that didnt buy the console 2 months prior get it day one. That's the whole point of preordering.

And I understand the crisis shortages but then why were the consoles oversold?

Can't forget about Bog either that was a great map.
