Xbox setup - minor instead of adult

hello, Lisl_SK here's how you can change the age of your child account.

1) Please do not resurrect old threads. It does no one any good.

2) As an adult if you accept the Terms of Service you agree that you are responsible for any charges made on your account regardless of who they are made by.

3) When you accept the Terms you also agree to forego the right to sue. Instead, you can file for an arbitration which Microsoft states they will pay the fees for.

4) It's stupid to let minors setup their own account and them let them have your credit card.

Have you got a family account setup at all, or parental controls?

That may be the issue.

Try asking your parent/guardian to turn off their parental controls, and reply if it does not help.

If your parent/guardian does not know how to turn parental controls off, tell them to promote the Xbox Live account to an adult one, instead of a child one. You may have a child account, instead of a full adult account.

Crazycougar shouldn't be an issue.

The 50 cents is to verify you're an adult and authorizing the minor to use Xbox LIVE.

This is not a minor account. This is an adult account with no child restrictions
