    Xbox Set up for Public


    I have an Xbox One set-up in a restaurant and I have all of the settings locked down but I still have an issue. With everything locked down a user can still log in with their own account and play mature games or watch mature youtube videos, etc. What I
    really need is a demo set-up but at the very least I need to disable new user sign in so I can keep everything PG.

    Greetings erge!

    Firstly: Keep DHCP set to automatic.

    Secondly: You have to type the IP address of your default gateway for Xbox primary and secondary DNS Server. You can also choose to set your Xbox DNS Server to a public DNS server (Google for example). Google public DNS: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

    i already tried that, it didnt fix anything, everything works fine except for public play. it all happend after i tryed to set up a game of nuketown 2025 (coincidence?) now everything in public play is messed up and wont let me play multiplayer.

    Do not leave personal information on a public forum. The person you are setting the xbox one up for will be able to use the system without internet.

    As for now, it only seems that you have to change your Xbox DNS settings to a public DNS (in this case Google public DNS) instead of going through Shaw.
