Xbox services for family with multiple xboxes.

I have 3 Xboxes in my house. One for me and one for each of my kids. I have my account set as the parent account and each of the kids accounts as child profile. I pay for 3 individual Xbox live accounts.

I want to be able to play games with my kids, online with friends and other family.

I was looking at the "game pass" and I 'm curious if I'm required to purchase that for each individual account or if there's a way to share it across my kids accounts.

I haven't found a very good family account management system or a write up on how to maximize how I'm subbed and how I'm sharing games. Can you guys point me to a place what really lays out how these things work if your on the hook for multiple accounts?

I wish MS had a better family pass setup that would consolidate all of this to one menu, subscription etc.

Can Family Members access XBOX music?

I am currently trailing xbox music and really liking the service. My wife has windows phone and we have a windows 8 laptop in the house that is also configured with her account. The xbox music service and the Xbox's and my windows phone all currently are
setup with my xbox id. What I want to know is if I purchase the Xbox Gold family pack will my wife also have the right to use the xbox music service as I would be the primary account for the family? Or would we have to subscribe again in which case the upgrade
to the family account not being worth while?

My Family Pack runs out in June. Would really like to see this come back as it was one of the few deals for people with multiple Xboxes in the house.

 

Games pass itself cannot be shared, but the games that you download through it can be shared on your Home console. You can only have 1 console set as your Home at a time though, so if you want to use it on all 3 consoles, you would need at least 2 subscriptions

Thank you, that is basically the conclusion I game to.

This isn't that intuitive, and I wish they'd sell some kind of family pass. I can't justify the pricing structure for their game pass and the Xbox live. The weird "home primary console" setup just makes less enticing. It's easier to just eat the XBL sub
and buy less games. I don't have to do any weird math to figure out how to get everyone on playing together. /rant. (Idk where the best place would be to leave that kind of feed back is).
