Xbox Services Down For Days

Xbox Live has had issues for days now. Xbox video runs at low definition, and the loading wheel pops up every 30 seconds, making movies unwatchable. Netflix runs, but at low def, as does YouTube. Multiplayer games disconnect regularly. I’ve done every
bit of troubleshooting and technique suggested by every support angle. Even the Xbox One itself confesses that the problem is not my network, but is a problem with Xbox Live. The thing is, the status page on Xbox.com has only purchase content and usage in
an error state, as well as Monster Hunter World, but every other feature is listed as green and working. This is definitely not the case.

Is anyone else having this experience?

Gold services down for 5 days now

my gold has been down for 5 days now, no one even support can fix it, I’ve deleted profile and reinstalled it, support has deleted my payment and gold services and sent me 1 month code but nothing works. Come on guys this will be my 3rd Xbox one return since
last September, if you guys didn’t know we have to pay GameStop 20.00$ every time for a new warranty, it’s getting old.

 

Downloading issues

The issue with the Xbox Service alert is this - Buying items, redeeming codes, or downloading purchases - as stated on their site, Xbox Live Service Status | Xbox Live Service Outage

- Find out what your connection your Xbox is getting from your router

Go to Settings > Network Settings > Detailed Network Statistics

The Xbox will use as fast a connection as it's getting from the router, and often the router is the source of the issue.

You should see - Download / Upload / Packet Loss / MTU / Latency

Download needs to be 3.5 Mbps or higher

Upload needs to be 0.5 Mbps or higher

Packet Loss should be at 0%

MTU 1480 (usually)

Latency the lower the better and no more than 150ms

Try the steps below and run your test again. The Xbox will download as fast as your router will allow it too.

Hard reset the Xbox by holding down the power button on the front of the Xbox for 15 seconds. After the 15 seconds let go of the power button then restart the Xbox.

Try out your games.

Power cycle your network by unplugging the power to the modem & router for about 60 seconds. Then plug your router back in and try your game again.

Go to Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate MAC Address > Clear > let the Xbox Restart?

Try out your video again or check the speed test again.

If that doesn't work, I'm guessing you're using a wireless connection to your router.

On your Xbox go to Settings > Network > Network Settings > Forget Wireless Network

Go to Advanced settings > DNS Settings > Manual - Set the Primary DNS as 8.8.8.8 and the Secondary as 8.8.4.4

Go to Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate MAC Address > Clear > let the Xbox Restart

After the Xbox Restarts go back and reconnect to your Wireless Network and try your game again.

If that fails, consider resetting your router back to defaults.

 

have had no issues with live at all, and if netflix is running slow as is youtube then this is your network or a local ISP issue, the content and purchasing issue listed on live is not affecting performance of live, and as of yesterday that error is no longer
listed. I have been online for 5 days in a row without any issues and i have been using youtube, netflix and multiplayer gaming and downloading games.
