Xbox Service Question

Discus and support Xbox Service Question in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; My Series X was recently in for repair.     Xbox Service Question


    My Series X was recently in for repair. Digital and disc based games would go to the splash/startup screen then crash right back to the home dashboard. Service is now sending it back to me, but no indication of what was done or wrong, and unfortunately Support cannot see that info either. Anyone have any ideas, software/hardware issue? Any general idea is a great help.

    First, welcome to the Xbox community. I'm sorry I had this issue with the Xbox Series X, due to the issue you mentioned I believe it's something related to the console's own software.

    If you know your console's serial before you send it in for repair, you can probably compare it to the current one that's coming to you and confirm that there's been a hardware replacement.

    Usually, the responsible repair center does not pass this type of information, unfortunately.

    Also it most likrly just a replacement so unless it's the same serial number it's most likely a new refurb

    Whe you look at your SR it would be a different serial.Number then your incoming serial number

    I suppose we’ll find out, the new shipping info doesn’t have anything as far as a new serial number, neither does my account. At least they fixed it I suppose, just happy to get it back, sucks they don’t tell you what was going on.
