Xbox servers for COD black ops slowing down?

Hi! My name is Aileen, and I’m an Xbox Expert and Xbox user myself. I know how annoying lag can be, especially when it just starts out of nowhere. This is a public forum, so I can’t access Xbox systems directly, but I’ll do my best to help with the info available.

If Black Ops has been lagging the past few days, and others in your area (especially in Hawaii) are seeing it too, it could be a server or routing issue. Here are a few things you can try in the meantime:

Use a wired connection if possible—it’s more stable than Wi-Fi.

In your game settings, turn on Telemetry to see your ping and packet loss.

Lower or disable On-Demand Texture Streaming in the graphics settings.

If your router has QoS settings, set Xbox traffic to high priority.

According to Activision, all COD: Black Ops 2 servers are up and running:

It does seem, however, that this game is quite prone to server issues which Activision are slow at fixing

Cannot connect to Black ops server either. The Black Ops site says the server is up... but I cannot connect in game. Though I can access other Xbox Live stuff, just not CoD: BO. Please someone look into fixing this, thanks.

Have you check the black ops server site if then servers are down
