    Why are Xbox servers just so freakin bad. It’s not often that I play my Xbox anymore, but whenever I want to play Madden or Fortnite of course the servers are down because why not. I just can’t take Xbox anymore. Microsoft just sucks and can never have good
    servers. I’m always disconnected from Xbox Live and I am just sick of it. I have great internet connection so don’t even give me any of that BS. You would think that by now Microsoft would make sure that their system is always in tip top shape but clearly
    it never is. Like oh my freakin god it just pisses me off so much about how much y’all suck at keeping servers online. Ricky Berwick can run a business better than you idiots.

    So people with bad internet connection aside....

    A couple of developers like Jonathan Blow claimed those are 300,000 virtual servers, not actual servers, and it'll be sharing with the 360. Google "300,000 servers is a lie" if you want.

    "I want to play Madden or Fortnite..."

    Madden is an EA game hosted on EA servers. You're just using the Xbox to get to the EA server. It's not on and Xbox server.

    Fortnite is a game by Epic Games. Same thing there, it's a game that's available on the Xbox console but it's not hosted on an Xbox Server.

    Halo, Forza, Gears of War...just to name a few, those are Microsoft Studio's games hosted on Xbox/Microsoft servers.

    Often, if you can't connect to the servers for the game you're trying to play on, it's usually an issue with your router or network connection or DNS server from the ISP.

    On your Xbox One, go to Settings > Network > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > DNS Settings > Manual

    - Set your Primary DNS as 8.8.8.8 and Secondary DNS as 8.8.4.4

    - Go back to Alternate MAC Address > Clear - and let the Xbox restart and try your games again

    It couldn't hurt to power cycle your home network by unplugging the power to your modem/router setup for about 60 seconds and then plug the power back in to refresh your network connection.

    I know. The system is basically unplayable. I'm booted from 50% of the games I play, despite turning off my firewall and opening virtually all ports

    Maybe if the xbox one servers were as good as the 360 servers. it always seems to screw the people on xbox one more than the 360. i thought the one was supposed to be next gen? maybe it is, but the server blows
