    Request: does the Xbox Series X support a monitor with FreeSync Premium Pro (formerly FreeSync 2 w/HDR)? Or is it limited to FreeSync Premium (FreeSync 2)?

    Context: I am shopping for a monitor and am looking to understand the Xbox Series X outputs so that I can match to an appropriate monitor.

    Here's my current understanding of Xbox Series X outputs:

    1. Variable Refresh Rate: HDMI 2.1 VRR supported w/Dolby Vision OR FreeSync
    XXX (unclear which versions of FreeSync are supported).

    2. 4k@120FPS: requires HDMI 2.1, and display needs to be able to support refresh rate/resolution.

    3. 1440p@120hz, 1080p@120hz: HDMI 2.0 or higher, and display needs to be able to support refresh rate/resolution.

    Yes the monitor is freesync premium and I tried getting vrr by turning freesync off and on then restart my Xbox

    It supports FreeSync Premium in both hdmi and display port. Someone in this chat mentioned that the One S only supports FreeSync 2. If that's the case then will the Series X support all versions of FreeSync? I just want to make sure my monitor will be
    supported properly when the Series X comes out.

    1440p@ 120 hz issue xbox series x

    I fixxed it by changing my monitor to fps mode and disable freesync premium on the monitor itself. Now I am at 1440p@120hz on xbox series x

    Yeah I can record a video off my phone give me about 5 minutes I have to upload via imgur and yes freesync premium pro is on in monitor and vrr is ticked in the xbox display settings
