    Xbox series’s x isn’t connecting to network


    Hi, every time I try to connect to my WiFi my Xbox can’t connect with a static ip address or a dns setting. I know the WiFi works on my PlayStation but not my Xbox which is odd. Also on current network status the NAT type is stuck on “getting info” and the service info is unavailable. And when I try to play a offline game I get error code 0x80072ee7. I have tried all of Xbox’s tips and read many of the discussion posts including trying to reset my Xbox. Any help would be much appreciated thanks.

    Are you able to turn on mobile hotspot on your phone and connect the Xbox to that and see what happens?

    Yes, but then it says that the DNS isn’t resolving Xbox server names. Also when I when I look at up address, subnet mask and gateway under ipv4 in advanced settings they are stuck at 0.0.0.0 but then sometimes they flicker to the correct numbers but then flick back to 0.0.0.0. Same with the DNS

    Xbox series x won’t stay connected to internet. Just bought today brand new out of the box

    I’m having the same issue. I got a series X about 2 weeks ago and it won’t stay connected to WiFi. It usually will only hold connection for a few minutes, anywhere from 2-20 maybe? A couple times it has maintained connection for multiple hours though that is very rare. It sits next to my Xbox One X and a few feet from my PS5, all of which connect to the same WiFi network without issue. Due to location of the router, a hardwire connection isn’t possible.
